KV-Tidal v1.0.0-28 Release Notes
- Eliminated 30-Second Audio Playback Cutoff: Prevented Apple Music promotional preview clips from silently masquerading as full track streams when Tidal unauthenticated or Opus playback is requested. Added explicit `preview` query parameter separation.
- Resilient Multi-Path Stream Resolver: Augmented `yt-dlp` discovery across native SPK installation directories, local user bins, and system PATH. Implemented dynamic detection of writable and executable temporary directories (`find_writable_tmp()`) to prevent PyInstaller extraction failures on Synology DSM.
- YouTube SABR/PO-Token Bypass & Search Optimization: Added bot-resistant Android/mweb client emulation flags and query title sanitization, speeding up full song stream resolution to under 3 seconds.
- Synology DSM Permissions & Packaging: Enforced world-writable permissions (`chmod 777`) on `$VAR_DIR/tmp` owned by `sc-kvtidal:synocache` in `start-stop-status` and `postinst`, allowing PyInstaller binaries to execute without permission errors. Bundled both `yt-dlp` and `yt-dlp_linux` into the SPK package.
- Frontend Stream URL Sanitization: Removed preview URL parameter injection across all track listing and playback modal components.
